Dani Sablinskas (she/her) is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Adlerian psychotherapist who works with men, women, and non binary individuals. She specializes in:

    • Grief & Loss

    • Insomnia & Sleep Disturbances

    • Plus Size Identity & Body Based Stigma

Her goal is simple, “To help people feel understood, supported, and strong enough to build a life that feels like their own.”

With over 10 years experience working in healthcare, Dani has supported countless individuals who have faced experiences of grief, challenges with belonging, and navigating major life transitions. Dani understands the feelings of loss, experiences of loneliness, exhaustion, and insomnia. She’s:

    • Experienced the loss of a mother at 19

    • Dealt with healthcare systems that are physically exclusionary at times

    • Moved from Ontario to BC and started fresh, rebuilding a sense of community, strengthening connection, and finding courage to create a balanced and fulfilling life

    • Provided recreational therapy that is holistic (mentally, emotionally, and socially) to various age ranges and mobilities, while also understanding the lack of social support that impacts well-being

Because of this, Dani shows up with authenticity, empathy, and respect for the complexity of people’s stories.

She creates a space where you don’t have to pretend, minimize, or hold it all together. A space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered as you move through whatever transition, loss, or identity shift you’re facing.
